Yes a hip check and a great one . If he gets to low and hits the knee of the player it’s a penalty and if he was to high he would have been knocked over but a great timing and perfect position = a perfect hip check = ass over Tea kettle

Turns and dives should be a reviewable offence just like a hit to the head. 1 game suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct if they successfully draw a call that was unwarranted. It is decreasing the integrity of the game.

Ovechkin also guaranteed a win over the Pens in game 7 in 2009. To Ovie’s credit, he does all he can to try and win but these “guarantees” are always stupid. If they’re wrong they “shoulda, coulda, woulda” and no one cares, no one calls them out on it. But if they’re right then you’ll never hear the end of it.
