No joke.
It just came out that the concussion that Bruins call-up Adam McQuaid suffered earlier this year, happened in his hotel room.
Taken out by a suitcase
Turns out that the Bruins ended up getting in to their hotel room late one night and McQuaid just decided to drop his luggage on the floor and hit the sack.
In the middle of the night when he got up to hit the can, he tripped over the suitcase and gave himself a concussion. Bruins kept the story under wrap until today.
In a related story, I smashed into the door to my bathroom the other night, because I couldn’t tell in the dark that it was closed over.
Yes, I was drunk.
