This should have been Pavel Datsyuk’s season to win the Hart Trophy for MVP of the league.

With the way that Datsyuk has been playing as of late, it would be hard not to argue that he would be one of the front runners for the award. He has returned to his 08/09 form that got him the Hart nomination last year.

Since March, Datsyuk has 20 points in 18 games.
